Personal Insights:

Devolved makes a satirical comment on biological and cultural aspects of teenage roles in society with references to the enticing plot of a classic tale: Lord of the flies. Attempting to combine humour with social critique is not going to work for everyone. Nevertheless, the audience that enjoys indie comedies involving adolescent issues may not be disappointed.
