Synopsis
Many modern fantasy novels today begin ten or fifteen years from the start of the story. However in this case, it seems prudent to begin with the words: After the events of the prologue. Welcome to the beautiful land of Lumbria, the kingdom in which the reigns of day and night coexist in delicate balance. Here, everything changes in the blink of an eye. One moment its the coronation party and the next it is complete chaos, all thanks to the rogue spell at work on King Solon and Queen Ellsmere.
While chaos definitely isn’t new to Ellian, her journey aims to put a stop to the treacherous forces that have taken away her family. With the Oracles Sunny and Luno guiding her, Ellian’s mission becomes clear; but it certainly won’t be easy. On such matters Ellian has always described herself as a ‘jack of all trades, master of none’. But with everything shes worked with in the past, she hopes this time it will be different. Battling spiritual monsters are one thing, learning to unlock her own potential is another. But is she really ready to break the spell of her family?
